The general assembly is the highest decision making reference in the union and is consisted of members or their official representatives.

The call for each of general assembly will be done by the board of directors through insertion of an announcement in widely circular newspapers . The announcement must be published at least fifteen days before the proposed date of gathering for the general assembly . The advertisement should hold issues like agenda , date , time ,and the place of the celebration of assembly .Also an individual invitation letter signed by one of the members of the board ,the secretary or inspector should be sent directly or through facsimile to the announced members' addresses.

Any of the member companies will introduce in written a real person to the union as plenipotentiary agent of the supposed company to take part in  the  general assembly meeting. After the approval of The introduction letter by the board of Directors or secretary or the inspector of the union, the supposed agent / representative will be authorized to be in the assembly , to be selected or to select .

Voting in the general assembly of the union will be open unless in case of  election of the board of directors and inspector or base on the approval of presidium which will be in written .

In order to organize each assembly , in the first step, the oldest person among all the present representatives in the session , will manage the session and then at the moment the number of present members reached the quorum , votes will be  obtained for electing one president , one secretary and two supervisors for the assembly . Then the elected presiding board will  take on the running of the session and declare the meeting  to be official.

In each session of the assembly , the secretary will fix a list of the names of present representatives and get the approval of the  presiding board by their signing, following talks and making decisions, the assembly will provide a summary of the report and turn it into a process-verbal to be signed by the members of  presiding board. These process-verbaux will be maintained in the central office of the union and its content will be authoritative for all the members .

Decisions and approvals of general assemblies of the union incorporated as per articles of this constitution shall be valid and binding on  the entire members whether present or absent and even members who have opposed its approval .

All the approvals of general assembly meetings ( ordinary and extraordinary ) shall be notified to Iran's chamber of commerce, industries and mines .
