The union , in order  to promote its aims and doing its duties can have some permanent or temporary commissions composed of the managers and representatives of member companies or the real members of the union. The kind of activities of each commission ,the number of their members, the policy for their election and the duties of commissions will be based on regulations prepared and  approved by the board of directors .In case of resigning or disposing the majority of board of directors these commissions could continue to do their job until re-election of new board of directors .The union  can also choose and invite consultants among managers of member companies or out of the union in order to improve and promote his job .

All of the approvals and decisions  made by the constituents of the union consist of assembly ,approvals of board of directors ,the reports of inspector and treasurer , and the approvals of commissions and advisors must be presented to chamber of commerce ,mines and industries of Iran as seasonal reports .

Regarding the diversity and expansion of the activities of the members of the union and in order to make  possible  for the members to communicate in decision making ,this union took action towards establishing specialized commissions for the products such as oil , bitumen ,paraffin, petrochemical, and chemical  products . the data about  the sessions of these commissions will be  announced  based on a regulated program in the beginning of each year and will be celebrated in the location of the union on monthly based .

The commissions actually are considered to be as an active arm for the board of directors which present specialized , professional and consultative views. The most important duties which are entrusted to them are as follows :

·         Providing information about news, events, investing and commercial opportunities, setting up expertise exhibitions ,conferences and instructional courses in relation to the domain of oil ,gas and petro-chemistry.

·         Presenting expertise notions for preparing ,adjusting ,regulating and amending the laws ,regulations and circulars related to oil products and the process of exporting  of them.

.        Discussing the members' issues and problems pertaining to the guild and presenting  suitable ways to solve them .
