Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mohammadreza Nematzadeh said on Sunday that Iran can be a good and strategic partner for European countries
Nematzadeh made the remarks in his speech at a ceremony to mark 'Iran National Day' in Milan Expo in Italy, IRNA reported.
The minister said that currently no restrictions exist on foreign investments in Iran.
Visits to Iran in recent months by Italian ministers of economy and foreign affairs as well as and ministers from other countries accompanied by economic delegations indicated that the Iranian government and nation can be a strategic partner for European countries, Nematzadeh said.
He said despite international pressures and economic and political sanctions, Iran would make progress by relying on its innovative and educated workforce.
Nematzadeh said that the Islamic Republic is ready to cooperate with other countries in the industries, mines, trade and infrastructure sectors in addition to mutual and long-term investments.
He said that Iran would share experiences with other nations on improving agricultural production and make investments on producing agricultural and animal products in developing countries
