Iran, Turkmenistan sign oil deals
Iran signed contracts worth $450 million with neighboring Turkmenistan to supply engineering and technical services.

Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said on Monday evening that the company will support Iranian industrialists in neighboring countries, and has recently opened an office in Iraq to provide more support for Iranian craftsmen operating in the country, Shana reported.

Rokneddin Javadi further estimated Iran's technical and engineering contracts with Turkmenistan to reach $1 billion by March 19, 2016.

He said Iranian experts and contractors are conducting more than 95 percent of construction operations in Iran's oil industry.

Javadi, who is also deputy oil minister, underlined the opportunities created in Iran following the July 14 nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers in Vienna, and said this provides a significant opportunity for materializing oil industry's goals.
