Iran ready to export oil, gas to Bangladesh
Iranian ambassador to Bangladesh Abbas Vaezi has voiced Tehran's readiness to export oil and gas to Bangladesh.

Vaezi said that Iran is ready to extend Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline to Bangladesh. 
He said that Iran has talked with Pakistani and Indian sides over the gas pipeline project and is prepared to negotiate with Bangladeshi officials about the extension of the pipeline, according to Dhaka Tribune. 
Vaezi said that Iran and Bangladesh have already had talks in this regard, but the project needs feasibility studies before implementation. 
The Iranian ambassador also said that Iran has invited the Bangladeshi Minister of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid to visit Tehran for discussing gas exports to Bangladesh and cooperationin other energy fields.
Vaezi also said that Iran has signaled readiness to export oil to Bangladesh. 
Pakistan and India had postponed the implementation of pipeline project for imports of gas from Iran under the pretext of Western sanctions on Tehran, but now as the sanctions are likely to be lifted soon following the Iran nuclear deal, Islamabad and New Delhi can resume their activities for implementing the project.
