Iran's oil export to India falls
Iran’s oil exports to India fell to 198 thousand barrels per day in the last month, August.

Iran's oil exports to India in August, compared to the same period last year, has decreased by 27% in 5 months which is considered as the lowest rate.

Meanwhile, Iran's oil export to India, 198 thousand barrels per day in August, had experienced a 7.7% decrease compared with the previous month, July.

Still, India's imports from Iran during the first eight months of this year fell by 21% with an average import of 214 thousand barrels per day (bpd) compared with the same period in 2014.


However, India plans to import more oil from Iran after the removal of sanctions being the world's fourth largest crude oil consumer and Iran's second largest oil customer after China.
