A senior official with Iran's Customs Administration Hassan Alidousti said Monday that $16. 939 billion dollars of commodities have been exported by the Customs Administration over the past five months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21).
Alidousti said that Iran's exports in the mentioned period amounted to 38.866 million tons.
He said that China, Iraq, the UAE, India and Afghanistan were the main destinations for Iranian commodities, adding, gas condensates and petrochemical products were the major Iranian products exported to foreign countries.
Iran has exported 8.205 million tons of gas condensates and 9.993 million tons of petrochemical products during the five-month period, Alidousti said.
He said that Iran's exports of gas condensates during the period under question shows five percent decline in terms of weight, while the country's exports of petrochemical products in the mentioned time shows 35 percent growth in terms of weight.
