Director General of the Exports Department at Iran Customs Administration Hassan Alidousti said on Monday that in the first five months of the year (starting on March 21), 8.205 million tons of gas condensates worth $3.562 billion were exported.
Alidousti said the gas condensate exports fell by five percent in terms of weight compared to the similar period last year.
He said gas oils, hydrocarbons, liquefied propane, tar oil, polyethylene, liquefied butane gas, iron and steel products stood high in the list of the exports.
He noted that the items were mainly exported to China, Iraq, the UAE, India and Afghanistan.
