Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a meeting with Iranian entrepreneurs and elite residing in the US called for their participation in Iran's different economic sectors.
'The Iranian entrepreneurs, managers and investors (both inside and outside the country) are always prioritized for presence in different economic sectors,' President Rouhani said during the meeting.
'Today good opportunities have been provided for activities in economic, scientific and industrial sectors which should be used in the best possible manner,' he added.
The president pointed to the success of the government of wisdom and hope (his government) in the field of growth of social assets, moving towards reforming the economic structures, controlling the inflation, coming out of recession and stepping in the path of economic growth, and said, 'We should try more for achieving economic prosperity in order to be able to make use of all opportunities and capacities; the Iranian residing abroad are great assets in this field.'
President Rouhani said that making efforts to reduce reliance of Iran's economy on oil as his government's program, and said, 'Thanks the officials' efforts, we have managed to create a balance in non-oil products exports and imports so that the year 93 the non-oil exports witnessed a 19 percent growth and it nearly hit the balance with the imports.'
The Iranian president said that Iran has achieved big successes during the sanctions time, and said, 'One of the reasons for our success in the negotiations was that the negotiators realized that the Iranian nation is able to organize its economy under the sanctions and they cannot take concessions from us during the sanctions' time.
