Director of Iran’s Persian Gulf Holding Davoud Farahani said dozens of foreign companies have held talks with Iran to take part in the country’s petrochemical industry.
Several foreign companies have expressed readiness for cooperation in Iran’s petrochemical plans, he said, adding five companies have contacts with the Persian Gulf Holding every month for joint plans.
He added that the company would start diversifying its products with anti-Iranian sanctions would be lifted and new high-tech would be available in Iran.
The Iranian official noted that the country has managed to indigenize 50 percent of its oil industry equipment over the years it was under sanctions.
Data released by Independent Chemical Information Services showed that the company ranks among the world’s 100 top company in terms of sales, raising profit and raising capital, he noted.
