The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) announced that around $200mln of various commodities weighting over 347,964 tons were traded in its domestic trading and exports halls in the past working week (Sep 19-23).
The IME said that 182,228 tons of oil and petrochemical products, including 69,000 tons of bitumen, 48,673 tons of polymer products, 31,000 tons of VB, 14,000 tons of lube cut, 16,000 tons of chemical products, 2,023 tons of insulation, 1,500 tons of sulfur and 20 tons of argon, with the total value of $97mln were traded in this trading halls in the last working week.
In the meantime, 160,396 tons of metal and mineral products, including 151,291 tons of steel products, 3,885 tons of copper, 120 tons of molybdenum sulfur, and 5,100 tons of aluminum, worth more than $98mln were traded in the IME domestic and exports halls in the previous week.
Moreover, in the IME agricultural trading hall, 3,550 tons of sugar, 200 tons of maize, 200 tons of crude vegetable oil and 100 tons of rice were traded by customers during the last week.
