Value of Irans's foreign trade stood at 41.346 billion rials in the first half of this year, according to the Information Technology and Communications Bureau of Iran's Customs Administration.
The Customs Administration Public Relations Department said Iran's imports in the period under study reached as much as $20.852 billion, which showed a decline of 20.43 percent compared to the figure for the same period the previous year.
Iran's foreign trade data shows Iran's trade balance is still negative.
Major oil products exported in the period were gas oil, gas-shaped hydrocarbons, liquefied propane, basic forms of ethylene polymers, oil-based lubricants, lubricants obtained from tar and other minerals, and alicyclic hydrocarbon. Major destinations of Iranian exported items were China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan and India.
