Finnish Ambassador to Tehran Harri Kamarainen said on Saturday that Finland trade officials and representatives from many big companies are to pay visit to Iran.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Hamedan Governor-General.
Tehran Chamber of Commerce is to hold a seminar in December, which is a suitable opportunity for Finland to present its products.
He added that Finland will participate in Tehran International Exhibition on March 1-4, 2016.
Kamarainen said that Finland has high capacities in the field of mobile phone, manufacturing elevator and wood and agriculture products of Finland are exporting to 70 countries in the world.
Jungle is green gold of Finland and the two countries would develop satisfactory economic ties.
The Finnish envoy said that people of Finland are not familiar with Iranian merchandizes.
In the field of protection of environment as well as information technology, Finland is among the best in the world.
Finland is offering suitable mechanism for disposal of industrial wastes in the large cities and urban development and transport, he said.
Kamarainen said that Hamedan is well-known because of its rich history and tourism, natural, environmental, agricultural and industrial attractions.
It is the oldest town in the world, which helped the world civilization a lot, the birthplace of great scientist -- Avicenna -- making great progress, the ambassador said.
Finnish ambassador to Tehran during his 2-day visit to Hamedan discussed issues of mutual interests with provincial officials. He visited tourist attractions in Hameda as well.
