Iran, Norway to develop offshore oil cooperation
Iran and Norway agreed to expand cooperation in offshore oil and gas projects during a meeting between CEO of Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) Saeid Hafezi and Norwegian Ambassador to Iran, Aud Lise Norheim.

In the meeting, which was also attended by a representative from Intsok oil and gas company, Norheim hoped that given the new political and international conditions, competent Norwegian companies and major investors can take part in Iranian projects, Shana reported.
"IOOC projects have great potentials for bilateral cooperation," she said, noting, "Norway is ready to raise mutual ties with Iran in all areas, especially in oil and gas projects."
Hafezi elaborated on his conpamy's activities and said IOOC welcomes the participation of Norwegian firms in Iran's oil industry.
