The first consignment of natural gas condensate produced at Iran's South Pars Gas Field phases 15 and 16, has been exported, said Pirouz Mousavi Managing Director of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company.
Along with inaugurating new phases in the South Pars Gas Field, there are presently no operational restrictions to increase the production of natural gas condensate in the new phases of the field, IRNA quoted Mousavi as saying.
"In addition to boosting the loading capacity for the natural gas condensate produced at newly developed South Pars phases, construction of new storage facilities is also on the agenda," he said.
In the near future, Mousavi said, eight storage facilities each with a capacity of 500,000 barrels of gas condensate will be launched in Assaluyeh.
Production of natural gas and gas products have begun in South Pars phases 15 and 16 and they will be officially inaugurated in late October by President Hassan Rouhani.
