Iran light crude up by 3.57 dollars in week to Oct. 9
Iran's light crude was sold for 48.34 dollars, up by 3.57 dollars, in the week to October 9.

The average price for Iran's light crude has stood at 53.30 dollars since the begining of 2015.
The OPEC basket of crude rose by 3.44 dollars to settle at 47.23 dollars in the week under study compared to the previous week. The average price of OPEC basket of crude was 52.56 dollars since the start of this year.
Each barrel of WTI crude increased by 3.28 dollars to 48.40 dollars in the week to October 9.
The Brent crude price also soared to its highest level. Each barrel of Brent crude rose by 4.03 dollars to 51.16 dollars in the period under study. The average price of Brent crude was 55.17 dollars this year.
