A 100-member trade delegation from Finland will visit Iran on December 8-9, said Matti Anttonen, the director general of the department for external economic relations at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Finland.
He emphasized the need for boosting cooperation in different economic fields, especially in transportation, technology, and environment protection. The IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday.
He made the remarks in a meeting in Tehran with Mohammad Khazaei, the Iranian deputy economy minister and the president of the Organization for Investment, Economic, and Technical Assistance of Iran.
The Finnish official, for his part, said that his country is determined to expand cooperation with Iran, particularly in technology and investment spheres.
A seminar will be held soon in Helsinki on introducing investment opportunities in Iran, he added.
