Deputy foreign minister for Euro-American affairs said here Thursday that today is a proper time for planning further economic activities between Iran and Europe.
Majid Takht-e Ravanchi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting State Secretary of Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) Yves Rossier.
Rossier also said his country, under the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA,) is ready to develop economic relations in all fields with the Iranian side.
The two further held talks on different international and regional questions.
The Swiss official, during his stay in Iran, has held talks with a number of Iranian officials.
On July 14, Iran and the six world powers reached a comprehensive agreement on nuclear issues and put an end to over ten years of negotiations.
According to the agreement, the UN Security Council's bans on Iran and the unilateral sanctions imposed on Tehran by the US and the European Union will be removed in return for some measures taken by Iran regarding its nuclear program.
