IGU representatives visit South Pars Gas Field
A delegation of experts and managers from the International Gas Union visited Iran's energy capital – South Pars Gas Field in southern Iran.

Speaking during a meeting with the visitors, Managing-Director of South Pars Gas Field Masoud Hassani said that South Pars refineries are being developed quickly so that the field is currently producing as much as 57 percent of the country's gas output and it is expected to cover some 82 percent of the country's output by 2018. 

More than 21,000 skilled manpower would contributing to making this achievement which will be a world record in its kind, Hassani said. 

The IGU delegation was composed of representatives from Brazil, Russia, Colombia, Canada, Portugal, Scotland, Germany and South Korea.
