Iran Sets 180 m/t Petchem Output
National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NIPC) has set production target of 180 million tons to be achieved by completion of its 10-year roadmap in two five-year phases.

“To this end, the short-term roadmap will be adapted with the Sixth National Five-Year Development Plan (2016-2021) which will be finalized soon,” said the company’s director of planning and development , Hamid-Reza Rostami.
“Considering privatization of numerous petrochemical companies and based on the experience gained in recent years,” he added, “most of projects are urging NIPC to act as the regulator.”
