Chairman of Iran-Italy Joint Chamber of Commerce said that following the nuclear agreement with world powers, conditions are ready for both countries to increase their bilateral economic relations.
'The visiting Italian delegations have expressed readiness for cooperation in manufacturing of car, textile, home appliances, tile, and ceramic,' Ahmad Purfallah told a provincial meeting of trade activists on Monday.
Italy has been active in certain industrial infrastructures in Iran, he added, and unlike some Western countries, it was not taken by political shocks in its economic transactions in Iran.
'If upstream issues such as banking ties and SWIFT are settled, the way to Iran's becoming a member of WTO will be facilitated,' Purfallah said.
Two Italian members of the joint chamber who accompanied him during the visit to Karaj said their fellow activists are ready for cooperation with Iran and are also for investment in the Islamic Republic.
