SCO members countries call for enhanced ties with Iran
Iran and Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states on Tuesday stressed the need for expansion of cooperation.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi held separate meetings with prime ministers of China, Russia and Pakistan, Li Keqiang, Dmitry Medvedev and Nawaz Sharif as well as Abdullah Abdullah, the chief executive officer of Afghanistan, on the sidelines of the 14th SCO ministerial meeting in China. 
They called for expansion of cooperation and increased relations within the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. 
Making use of the capacities of the member states was also among the issues discussed during the meetings between Vaezi and officials from Russia, China, Pakistan and Afghanistan. 
Underlining the need for interaction and respecting the territorial integrity of member states, the officials stressed the necessity to safeguard sustainable peace and stability.
