Exports from the US to the Islamic Republic reached $31.4 million in November, the US Commerce Department said in its latest report, Tasnim News Agency reported on Friday.
The data showed that in the first 11 months of the previous year, US exports to Iran reached $245 million, indicating a 45-percent rise versus the figure for the same period last year.
The report further said that Iran's imports from the US in the first 11 months of 2014 amounted to $168.5 million.
Iran's ranking in the list of top US export destinations improved from 134 in the first 11 months of 2014 to 117 in the same period in 2015.
Iran-US trade has fallen remarkably in recent years in the wake of Western sanctions imposed on Tehran over its nuclear energy program, but hopes are high that Iran and world powers, including US, will improve trade during coming months.
