Director of International Affairs Department of Bank Tejarat Ali Mehrpour said on Saturday that the bank is to joint the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) next week.
Following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and removal of international economic and banking sanctions, Bank Tejarat is to resume its international cooperation and joint SWIFT in the near future, he said.
Talks with European banks are underway to broaden international cooperation, he said.
It has been agreed that the letter of credits L/Cs, and Forex transfer should be sent via a coded e-mail to prevent any delay in rendering timely services to customers, he said.
