Iran Exports 2.3kt of Petroleum Products from Lengeh Port
Export of petroleum products from the Iranian port city of Lengeh in Persian Gulf nearly doubled during the current calendar year reaching 2,350 tons in the period beginning on March 21.

Director of Ports and Maritime Affairs Administration of Lengeh Mohamoud Saberi said the port has also exported 367,293 tons of non-oil items during the same period. 
Most of the items are destined to Persian Gulf littoral states.

He said exports from the province of Hurmuzgan, south of Iran, grew by at least 10% during the period.
Iranian calendar year begins on March 21. 

Saberi further added that the transit of oil goods from the port grew to 3,069t, up 100% year-on-year. 
Bandar Lengeh is a harbor city in, and capital of Bandar Lengeh County, in Hormozgan province of Iran on the coast of the Persian Gulf. 

The harbor is 280 km from Lar, 192 km from Bandar Abbas, and 420 km from Bushehr. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,303, in 5,589 families.
