An official with Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) said the company has shipped two consignments of gas condensate and liquefied petroleum gas to Kenya.
The cargoes were supplied from NGL refinery in Siri Island, said Mohammad Reza Safari Rad.
He said the refinery processes 143 mcf/d of the associate gas delivered to the refinery from oil platforms near Siri Island in the Persian Gulf.
The treated gas is delivered through a 83-km pipeline to Kish Island and a 104-km pipeline to Gheshm, said Rad. The gas is used to feed power plants in the islands.
The refinery's processed gas is valued at $100m annually.
