An oil industry high-ranking official said that Iran and Canada are to cooperate on building equipment related to oil industry surface facilities.
On cooperation with other companies, Technology and International Relations Deputy of Research Institute of Petroleum Industry Amirabbas Hosseini told IRNA that Iran and Canada will cooperate in constructing equipment of oil industry surface facilities and desalination installations.
In addition to Canada, negotiations have been made with some European and Asian countries to exploit new technologies in oil industry and petroleum reservoir and their contracts will be signed soon.
Research and Technology Director of Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) said that a Canadian Company previously started cooperation with Iran and the project of investigating economic justification and feasibility study of Binaloud oil field development was assigned to this company.
