Iran and Croatia have signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in a push to deepen their relations and economic ties.
The documents were signed following a meeting of a high-profile Croatian politico-economic delegation headed by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic with their Iranian counterparts in Tehran on Wednesday.
Kolinda came to Tehran at the invitation of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
Grabar-Kitarovic's trip comes in a series of visits by world leaders to Tehran after the implementation of a nuclear agreement, dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which was reached between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries in July 2015.
