An Indian trade delegation headed with prime minister to Iran, came to Iran chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture yesterday and the Iran-India Economic Forum was held with the presences of Iranian and Indian economic actors.
In this forum, Mohsen Jalalpour the head of Iran chamber emphasized on the importance of transit corridors Iran, India and Afghanistan.
Stating that India is the world's fourth-largest economy and Iran is the largest Asian economies and the 21st century is the Asian century; the head of Iran chamber said: The two countries try to achieve a position in the world economy and the growth rate was achieved with the mutual cooperation of the two sides.
He highlighted the security and stability of Iran energy for Indian market and Chabahar port as the transit capacity between the two countries.
Jalalpour outlined the fields of joint economic cooperation between two countries such as energy, transit, agriculture, steel, food, and information and communication technology.
Cooperation with Iran accelerates India's economic growth
The head of confederation of Indian export organization (FIEO) who headed a 40 trade delegation to Iran chamber of commerce, in this forum announce that 12 MOUs have been signed yesterday between the two countries as a major step in economic relations between the two countries.
He noted: Iran's GDP of $ 390 billion, is the second Asian economies which can accelerate India's economic growth.
The head of confederation of Indian export organization (FIEO) outlined the fields of joint cooperation between two sides such as: energy, food, agriculture, car and transportation.
