Iran seeks to triple gas exports to Armenia
Managing Director of National Iranian Gas Exports Company (NIGEC) Alireza Kameli said talks are underway with neighboring Armenia for raising the volume of Iran's natural gas exports to the country by up to three times within the next two or three years.

Kameli said Iran is currently exporting nearly a million cubic meters of the commodity to Armenia, adding the country is building new facilities for gas delivery to its power plants and planning to build new power generation facilities that would raise its demand for gas, Shana reported.
"Iran has invited Armenian energy officials to Tehran to discuss boosting gas exports to the country," he added.
