National Petrochemical Company (NPC) says a number of Turkish companies have indicated readiness to finance petrochemical projects in Iran.
Hossein Alimorad, director of investment at the NPC, said NPC welcomes foreign investors and developers in the petrochemical sector both in new projects and in cooperation with production companies.
He also said foreign investors can possess portions of the stocks of Iranian petrochemical companies as per investment.
He said investors from many countries including Turkey have indicated readiness to join projects in Iran. He declined to announce their names.
Almorad further said that export is one of the main challenges of petrochemical companies in Iran, adding there are many great investment opportunities in Iran where all investors can take a piece.
