The head of Society of Iranian Petroleum Industries Equipment Manufacturers Reza Khayyamian told the media about an upcoming meeting between Total and Iranian companies.
“A meeting between representatives of Total Company and the Iranian manufacturers of oil industry parts and equipment will have been held by the current week’s Wednesday,” said Reza Khayyamian, head of the Society of Iranian Petroleum Industries Equipment Manufacturers, on Saturday, “the meeting is arranged for discussing the ways of cooperation in the 11th phase of South Pars Gas Field.
The €42-million deal for developing phase 11 of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field was signed in July between NIOC (the National Iranian Oil Company) and a consortium of Total and CNPCI.
Mr. Khayyamian underlined that this is the first time that oil ministry has invited the Iranian manufacturers during the negotiations for developing phase 11 of South Pars Gas Field.
“Total is supposed to give enough explanation about its needs in conducting the phase 11 project, in this meeting,” articulated the Iranian official, “and the companies which are able to provide products compatible with the standards of the project will join the project.”
