Central Bank of Iran (CBI) reported on Sunday that the Producer Price Index (PPI) in Iran rose by 12 percent in the 12 months to June 21, 2015 compared to the figure for the same period last year.
A CBI report, a copy of which was made available to IRNA, provided summary of the PPI in previous years with the base year being March 2011-2012.
The CBI said the PPI was 214.7 in the month to June 21, 2015, showing a 1.7 percent growth compared to the figure for the previous month and 7.5 percent increase compared to the figure for the same month last year.
The PPI showed a 12 percent growth in 12 months to June 21, 2015 compared to the same period of the previous year.
