Transit of oil products from Shahid Rajaee port has witnessed 166 percent increase during the first three months of the Iranian calendar year started on March 21, 2015, compared with the preceding year, an official said on Monday.
Director General of Ports and Navigation of Hormuzgan Province Ibrahim Ideni said about 236,000 tons of oil products have exported to various states through Shahid Rajaee port during the mentioned period.
Ideni added oil imports from Shahid Rajaee port has had 30 percent decrease during the said period compared with the previous year.
Shahid Rajaee port as the biggest trade port in Iran is located 23 km west of Bandar Abbas.
