Oil tankers ready to resume int'l operations
A top official of National Iranian Tankers Company (NITC) said on Monday that Iranian tankers will resume plying to European and international ports in the shortest possible time following the termination of sanctions.

Speaking on the latest legal status of NITC's case with the European Court, Shahram Farahbod said that the restrictions on NITC were unfortunately renewed on February 12, 2015, following which relevant Iranian officials launched an extensive campaign against the move, IRNA reported.

The head of the NITC's Insurance and Legal Suits Affairs Office further elaborated that a bill on terminating the sanctions was delivered to the European General Court on April 24, 2015.

"Now we are awaiting the court's decision in order to pursue the legal process," he added
