Iran traded 21.214 billion dollars worth of goods with foreigners during the first three months of the current calendar year which began March 20 2015.
During the period, the country exported $10.8b of goods to foreign destinations while its imports stood at $10.3b, which means the country witnessed a positive trade balance during spring.
The country's exported items weighted 25.061 million tons and it imported 8.845 million tons of goods during the same period.
However, the total value of traded items diminished in comparison with the similar period last year: the imports were down 15.48% year-on-year and exports were 9.96% lower than the figure during last spring.
Furthermore, Iran's exports were mainly gas condensate and petrochemicals to foreign destinations including China and Iraq.
