Spain's ambassador to Iran announced that a number of cabinet ministers from the Western European country plan to pay an official visit to the Islamic Republic in early September as part of efforts to boost bilateral relations in various economic areas, including tourism.
Speaking in a meeting with representatives of Iran's private sector in western province of Lorestan, Pedro Antonio Villena praised the recent successful conclusion of nuclear talks between Tehran and world powers.
He expressed the hope that trade ties between Tehran and Madrid in diverse fields, including imports of crude oil, would further increase after the removal of anti-Iran sanctions.
The Spanish diplomat further emphasized that a group of ministers from his country, including Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo y Marfil and Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism Jose Manuel Soria, will make a trip to Iran in early September to help facilitate bilateral relations between the two countries.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Villena pointed to Iran's high capacity in tourism industry, saying that construction of hotel chains will provide the ground for the progress of the industry.
The issue of hotel chains will be addressed in the upcoming visit of the Spanish ministers, he added.
The comprehensive nuclear deal reached on July 14 between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) would terminate all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran after coming into force.
Experts believe that Iran's economic growth would rise remarkably after the final nuclear deal takes effect.
