Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh said that the country does not make any limitation for cooperation with foreign oil companies.
“Iran does not have any limitation for cooperation with foreign oil companies of any country, including the US.”
“I believe that the problem of selling crude would be removed after sanctions will be lifted. All sanctions are expected to be lifted mid November.”
He also said that Iran would regain its share in the oil market if sanctions are eased, adding, Iran would sell one million more barrels to regain its share in the market after removal of sanctions.
Zangeneh also referred to Iranian frozen assets, and said the amount in Europe totals 2.5 $billion, he added.
He also said that Iran would unveil new oil contracts in London by the end of current Iranian calendar year (which ends on March 20. 2015).
“The new oil contracts will be unveiled in London by the end of this year after approved by the government. Its final text has been prepared and we are waiting for the government to approve it.”
Asked about US investment in Iran, he said, “We do not make any limitation for any country. The US should put the limitation away from its business and join development of oil fields. The participation makes a kind of competition in the country (Iran) and Iran does not make any limitation for activities of any country.”
