Iraq and Venezuela have called for import of Iran's domesticated technology of insulating sleeves of oil pipes.
Iraq and Venezuela have demanded purchasing Iran’s technology of producing heat shrinkable sleeves which are used in insulating oil and gas pipelines.
Naser Darvishi a member of the Society of Oil Industry Equipments Manufacturers broke the news on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the plant producing heat shrinkable sleeves, on Saturday.
Darvishi also added that Iran has broken the monopoly of US and Canada in producing the sleeve through irradiation process.
He said that highly expensive pipe-laying projects in oil and gas transportation add to the importance of insulation of the pipes and the strategic sleeves are highly needed in the world.
Highlighting the regional demand for the product, Darvishi expected that along with Iran’s neighbors, India would also be another customer of the product.
