New round of talks between Iran and foreign investors, eying business in petrochemical industry, is under way, the deputy of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (INPC), Mohammad Hasan Peyvandi told reporters, adding that famous international companies are looking forward to investing in Iran’s petrochemical’s projects.
“Soon the major international petrochemical companies will be present in Iran”, he said; “over recent months, well-known European and Asian Companies have expressed their readiness to invest in Iran.”
He named companies such as BASF, Linde, EXNESS, Shell, and Hyundai, as those who have announced their willingness to invest in Iran’s National Petrochemical Company’s projects.
“Iran welcomes new investors” Peyvandi said, “However, it is quite obvious that Iran’s petrochemical industry has been advancing due to the capabilities of local experts, regardless of imposed sanctions.”
He also noted that INPC is determined to progress its developing project by 2025 (Iran's 1404 Vision Policy), saying accessibility of petrochemical units in Iran is an advantage that attracts investors.
