Two high-ranking trade and economy delegations of South Korea are scheduled to visit Tehran late in August.
Iran’s embassy in Seoul announced that two delegations of South Korean investors and traders will travel to Iran later this month.
The statement says that the first delegation will be headed by South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Yoo Il Ho and the second will be headed by Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Following Iran-Sextet Vienna agreement of July 14 and willingness of European and Asian countries to consider ways to expand cooperation with Iran, many foreign delegations have travelled to Tehran in a race for a better share of Iran’s vast market.
Finding common grounds for economic and trade cooperation development between the two countries as well as considering projects for joint investment are among goals of these visiting groups.
Also, Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se is to visit Iran in future after necessary coordination.
