Iran's oil exports will remain unchanged until removal of sanctions, the director of international affairs of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said on Wednesday.
Mohsen Qamsari made the remarks in response to foreign press reports about an increase in production and export of Iranian oil within the next week citing a US press. He said the original text of the news was different from Persian translation carried by some domestic news agencies.
The news carried by the US press underlines that preparations are underway to make it possible for the traditional customers to buy Iranian oil until the sanctions are lifted, Qamsari said.
Meanwhile, NIOC Managing-General Rokneddin Javadi said on Tuesday that growth in Iranian oil output will depend on lifting of sanctions.
In a televised conversation, Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh said that Iran's oil will return to global markets as soon as the sanctions are lifted and will not wait for permission of any other country to regain its quota in the global market.
